Life Blog Update 2

Hi guys. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your love and support after my last blog post (Life Blog Update). But I thought I should update you guys on what’s happened since then.

On Thursday, 21st March – my beautiful cat Gingy decided it was time for her to join the Angels. She fought as hard and as long as she could and I am just so blessed to have known her and proud to call her part of the family. She may not have been ours for long but I honestly can’t say I remember what life was like before she came along. There will be no other cat like her. She was one of a kind with a unique personality.

I’ve inserted below my original Instagram post from the night she passed. It sums up what I was feeling (and what I will always feel) about her. I want to thank you all again for your support and for keeping up with me and blog! xo

Life Blog Update 1

Hi guys! Just wanted to jump on the comp and give you guys a quick update on what’s been going on in my life at the moment.

I’m sorry I haven’t posted anything new up in the past fortnight, it’s been a bit crazy and hectic in my household. Since my blog is book-related I don’t usually post about anything else but thought I’d share this to explain my absence.

I have a beautiful, sweet as pie tabby cat. A couple weeks ago she got really sick, really quickly so we rushed her to the vet and found out that she has serious heart issues, which the vet thinks she might have already had since she was young and something just triggered it (which is also affecting a few other things in her body, which has made matters worst). She’s been taking medication and needing round the clock syringe feeding, as she’s too weak and tired to eat on her own.

So my family and I have been taking care of her and giving her lots of TLC. She’s my main priority at the moment and unfortunately my blog, books and reading have taken a back seat for the time being. I’m still active on Instagram (I ‘ve done a bunch of photos ahead of time) and whenever I can I’ll put mini reviews up on there too – although it’s taking a long time for me to finish a book these days.

Here’s a pic of my Ginger girl (aka Gingy) below. She’s not a fan of selfies..one quick glance at my phone or camera and she always looks away. So, her staring directly at my phone camera long enough for me to take this pic was a rare moment 😀 Hope you guys send out some love and positive energy her way! ♥
